We have a long history that could include you.

About Us Page

We desire to minister to the entire family, encompassing all age groups, or anyone seeking Biblical, faith based services to further enhance the quality of life already provided in the BCLUW community.

We meet as a group of Believers that want something real, and we want to be with other people that feel the same way. We aren't interested in cold, phony religion. We just want to truly worship God and learn together how to better walk in the light that Jesus brought into the world. It isn't about us really. It is all about Him.

* Service Times *: Sunday School is at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings. Worship service begins at 10:30 AM on Sundays. Each service on Sundays will last a duration of one hour. Feel free to check our "Alice Happenings" page for any special services and schedule times.

Mission Statement:

We exist to help others accept what we already believe; that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life thus growing together in our walks of faith knowing that we are not perfect, but Jesus thinks we are to die for.

In keeping with our Mission Statement, we offer our...

Purpose

Minister to people speaking truth in love to those that are lost, edifying the sanctified members of the body of Christ, freeing the enslaved, healing the sick, strengthening the weak, encouraging the depressed, shining light in the darkness, and magnifying the wonderful name of Jesus.

Vision

Make disciples not deceivers, Christians not churchians, by focusing on the quality of our faith through doing not hearing the Word only. We want people to be involved helping other people.

Vision Statement

To reach people for Jesus and provide opportunities for Christian growth and fellowship.

Focus

Provide services to our community that fulfill our Purpose and realize our Vision from a centralized hub but reaching out through various ministry spokes of the church and partnering with existing ministries that share elements of our mission.

Name

Our name is rooted in a tapestry of history that laces through the BCLUW area and shows our unity with the Churches of God. When some of the first pioneers settled in Grundy County, they saw the value of creating a place to worship together. They built a building to worship in surrounded by the rich, black dirt and fields of grain that would sustain them. Soon, a young family would give birth to the farming community's newest member... a girl named Alice Lynn. They could think of no better name to grace the church with, and the Alice Church of God was born.
