Jesus Is The Answer
Have you ever thought... there has got to be more than this.
You are not alone. Many of us either feel that way or have felt that way in the past. Lots of people are looking in all kinds of places to find some peace and comfort.
Life can get so complicated and confusing. It isn't any wonder or surprise that people will try fashion, drugs, crystals, music, literature, horticulture, sex, acupuncture, aqua therapy,
strings around their wrists, magnets, cooking, eating, computers, aromatherapy, religious chants, virtually anything to calm down, get a break, or actually get some joy out of life.
People are so stressed out that it isn't safe anymore to even establish eye contact with other car drivers while on the road. It almost seems like hell on Earth. In a way... it is.
The devil delights in all this rage and strife. He delights in people being bad. It makes him feel more powerful.
But, there is one thing that will do the trick. The secret was revealed just over 2000 years ago, and since then it has proved again and again to work every time.
Jesus is the answer!
God is so pure that he can't even bear to look at how we behave. If you do bad things (sin), God doesn't want to watch it. When you die, if you were one of the people God doesn't want
around him, because you sinned, he will send you away from heaven (where he is) to hell where the devil is.
How can you be saved from Hell then?
God is a God of love and mercy though. He loved you so much, that he sent his own son to die for all the bad things you've ever done or will ever do. Since Jesus, God's only son, died to erase all your sins, you can be in heaven with God. You don't have to suffer in hell for ever and ever. You can be saved.
If you want to go to heaven when you die, or maybe you aren't sure you will go to heaven, all you have to do to be sure you will not go to hell is pray a simple prayer. Do you want to be
sure?
If you want to be sure you are saved, read the prayer below out loud. It is important that you say it... not just think it. God has told us in the Bible to confess our sins with our mouths and
acknowledge Jesus as our Lord verbally. If you do, Jesus will take away your sins, come into your life, give you peace, and begin making you a new and better person.
SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD.
Heavenly Father, great and merciful God, you are holy and true. Please forgive me for all of the bad things I've done. I know I don't deserve to be saved from hell, but I believe Jesus died
for me. I believe he is your son, and that his death erases all of my sins. I ask Jesus to come into my life, and I want to be a better person. As Jesus forgives me, I forgive others who
have wronged me. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. For you are the creator, and to you be the glory in all things. Amen
What time is it right now?
Remember this time. Remember this date.
It was the time you were saved and ensured that you will not be sent to Hell.
Oh... one more thing... don't even worry about which church is the right church. What you believe about baptism and other doctrines isn't as important as believing that Jesus died for
you.
If
you prayed the above prayer, we believe you were “saved.”
In other words, you are now on your way to becoming a new person. To learn more about your
